The AGLAS Energy Systems Technician course is designed to equip learners with practical skills and foundational knowledge to assess, install, maintain, and optimize energy systems in small-scale residential, commercial, or industrial structures. The curriculum emphasizes energy efficiency, renewable energy integration, and cost-effective solutions tailored to the Bangladeshi context, preparing graduates for immediate entry-level roles in the energy sector.
Course Objectives
Graduates will be able to:
-
Assess total energy losses in existing structures and identify major sources of inefficiency.
-
Identify and evaluate the energy efficiency of major energy-consuming systems and equipment.
-
Install, repair, maintain, modify, and calibrate conventional and alternative (solar, wind, etc.) energy systems.
-
Pinpoint and quantify structural areas of heat and energy loss.
-
Recommend strategies for improved energy efficiency through structural, system, or control modifications.
